Inventing Remembrance -a talk by Martin Spence

Local historian and resident Martin Spence will be talking to us about Penge’s War Memorial in his new presentation entitled: Inventing Remembrance: the Origins of the Penge War Memorial.

 

The talk will be held at Melvin Hall, Melvin Road SE20, commencing at 7pm.

Martins talks are usually very popular so please arrive early.

 

Cheese & Wine will be served after the talk, kindly sponsored by Penge Forum.

This is a free to attend event but there will be a retiring collection – all proceeds toward the Festival.
